Terms & Conditions

By using this website or requesting a quote from FleetGo Moving Services, you agree to the following terms:

Estimates & Pricing

 

All estimates are provided in good faith based on the information supplied by the customer. Estimates are not guaranteed flat-rate quotes unless specifically stated in writing.

 

Final charges may vary based on:

• Actual inventory volume

• Access conditions

• Elevators

• Stairs

• Long carries

• Parking restrictions

• Additional items not disclosed at booking

• Delays beyond FleetGo’s control

 

Booking Deposit

 

A non-refundable booking deposit of $100 is required to reserve a moving date and crew.

 

Deposits may be transferred to another date at FleetGo’s discretion and subject to availability.

 

Minimum Charges

 

All moves are subject to a minimum 3-hour labor charge plus applicable service fees and taxes.

 

Payment Terms

 

Payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

FleetGo reserves the right to request payment before unloading if necessary.

 

Credit card payments may be subject to applicable processing fees.

 

Heavy Item Charges

 

Additional charges apply for items weighing more than 180 lbs.

 

Heavy Item Fee:

• $100 per item over 180 lbs.

 

Examples include:

• Safes

• Commercial equipment

• Large exercise equipment

• Specialty furniture

• Oversized appliances

 

FleetGo reserves the right to determine whether an item qualifies as a heavy item.

 

Stairs & Difficult Access

 

Additional charges may apply where:

• Multiple flights of stairs are involved

• Long carrying distances are required

• Building access is restricted

• Special handling is required

 

Elevators

 

Customers are responsible for booking and securing elevators where required.

 

Any delays resulting from unavailable elevators are billable.

 

Customer Responsibilities

 

Customers are responsible for:

 

• Providing accurate inventory information

• Securing parking permits if required

• Reserving elevators

• Ensuring safe access to the property

• Disconnecting appliances prior to moving unless otherwise arranged

 

Furniture Assembly & Disassembly

 

Basic furniture disassembly and reassembly is included where reasonably required.

 

Certain specialty furniture may incur additional charges.

 

Delays

 

FleetGo is not responsible for delays caused by:

 

• Traffic

• Weather

• Elevator issues

• Building restrictions

• Customer readiness

• Third-party delays

 

Such delays remain billable.

 

Liability Limitations

 

FleetGo is responsible for loss or damage caused by proven negligence.

 

FleetGo is not responsible for:

 

• Customer-packed boxes

• Contents of sealed boxes

• Items packed by the customer

• Pre-existing damage

• Pressed wood or particle board furniture

• IKEA furniture susceptible to damage during disassembly/reassembly

• Marble, granite, glass, mirrors, artwork, antiques, and fragile items not professionally packed by FleetGo

• Electronics not packed in original packaging or approved protective materials

 

TVs & Electronics

 

TVs, monitors, and electronic screens moved without original manufacturer packaging are transported at the customer’s risk.

 

Oversized Items

 

FleetGo does not guarantee that oversized items will fit through hallways, elevators, staircases, or doorways.

 

If requested by the customer, FleetGo may attempt the move; however, any resulting damage to the item or property shall be at the customer’s risk.

 

Additional Labor & Equipment

 

FleetGo may recommend additional movers, equipment, or trucks where necessary for safety or operational reasons.

 

Additional charges may apply.

 

Claims

 

Any claim for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of move completion.

 

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

 

Weather Conditions

 

FleetGo reserves the right to modify procedures or schedules due to weather conditions to protect employees, equipment, and customer belongings.

 

Safety

 

FleetGo reserves the right to refuse work that presents unsafe conditions for employees, customers, or property.

 

Parking & Fines

 

Customers are responsible for arranging legal parking.

 

Any parking tickets or fines incurred due to customer instructions or unavailable parking may be charged to the customer.

 

Governing Law

 

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

 

Acceptance

 

By paying a booking deposit, signing a service agreement, or allowing FleetGo Moving Services to perform moving services, the customer acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

 

Customers must provide at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a move.

 

The booking deposit is non-refundable.

 

If a cancellation or rescheduling request is made less than forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled move, FleetGo reserves the right to charge additional cancellation fees, including but not limited to the value of the reserved crew time, truck allocation, and operational costs associated with the booking.

 

Failure to provide notice or failure to be present at the scheduled pickup location may be considered a same-day cancellation.

 

Price Match Policy

 

FleetGo Moving Services offers a Price Match Guarantee for comparable services provided by professional, licensed, and insured moving companies operating within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

 

To qualify:

 

• The competing quote must be provided in writing.

• The quote must be for comparable services, including crew size, truck size, insurance coverage, moving equipment, and scope of work.

• The quote must be current and valid.

• Marketplace movers, independent contractors, cash-only operators, rental truck services, and uninsured movers are excluded.

 

At FleetGo’s discretion, we may match an eligible quote and provide an additional discount of up to ten percent (10%).

 

FleetGo reserves the right to decline any price match request.

 

Force Majeure

 

FleetGo shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or inability to perform services resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

 

Such circumstances may include but are not limited to:

 

• Severe weather conditions

• Snowstorms

• Flooding

• Road closures

• Traffic accidents

• Government actions or restrictions

• Public emergencies

• Power outages

• Labour disruptions

• Equipment failures beyond reasonable control

• Natural disasters

 

In such circumstances, FleetGo may reschedule services without liability and shall make reasonable efforts to accommodate customers at the next available opportunity.

 

Long Distance Moves

 

For moves exceeding one hundred and fifty (150) kilometres from the pickup location, additional terms may apply.

 

Long-distance moves may require:

 

• Additional deposits

• Additional travel charges

• Fuel surcharges

• Overnight accommodations

• Alternate scheduling arrangements

 

FleetGo reserves the right to provide a separate quotation and service agreement for long-distance moves.

 

Acceptance of Terms

 

By paying a booking deposit, signing a service agreement, confirming a booking by email, text message, phone call, or permitting FleetGo Moving Services to perform moving services, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.
